Your monday.com day, in one morning email.

Overdue, due today and this week, grouped by board. Task content is never stored.

How it works

Set it up once

An account admin turns DayBrief on in the Account Settings view, then sets the time zone, the send hour and the weekdays, and toggles on the people who should receive a brief.

The DayBrief account settings view with the send hour, the weekdays and the enrolled recipients

It reads what is due

At send time DayBrief reads each enrolled person's own items across every board that person can see: overdue, due today, and due within the next seven days.

The brief arrives

Each recipient gets one email, grouped by board, in their own time zone. On a day with nothing due, nothing is sent. Every brief has a link in the footer the recipient can use to change their own settings.

What is stored

DayBrief keeps configuration and delivery metadata, such as who is enrolled and when a brief was last sent. Board items are read at send time, formatted into the email, and then dropped.

Questions

What is in the email?
Each brief has three sections: overdue, due today, and due this week, grouped by board, with plain-language dates.
What happens on a day with nothing due?
Nothing is sent. There is no empty email, so every brief that arrives is worth opening.
Who receives a brief?
A brief goes only to the people an account admin enrolls in the Account Settings view. DayBrief never adds anyone automatically.
Is task content stored?
No. Board items are read at send time, formatted into the email, and then dropped. DayBrief keeps only configuration and delivery metadata.
Can a recipient change their own brief?
Yes. Every brief has a link in the footer that opens the recipient's own settings, with no admin needed.
What does the free plan cover?
Free covers up to 3 seats and 30 emails a month. Pro raises that to 25 seats, guests included, and adds a weekly digest.
